Despite having the Zanskar River break and trekkers a few day ahead of us on the Chadar being evacuated, the team at AP headed by Sauraj and assisted by Suchit were positive and kept a worried group optimistic about the upcoming adventure.
We were updated about the itinerary and requirements from well in advance and the team was available to promptly respond to any concerns before even leaving our cities.
From the get go we were well received and looked after, having been put up in a proper hotel . They found activities for us to do while we all acclimatized and were well organized.
The experience of being looked after continued on to the Chadar Trek itself where the Adventure Pulse team had arranged for comfortable provisions, food and plenty of extremely helpful locals who served as porters, cooks, helpers and guides.
It was an experience of trekking not with a tour group, but with like minded friends, which under such cold conditions (dropping to below -25C) made it a much more bearable and pleasant time.
This was no easy trek even for the seasoned thrill seekers and My wife, for whom it was the first ever camping/trekking/adventure experience was also kept upbeat in morale by everyone in the group and completed the trek admirably.
I’m already looking into my next adventure with team AP!
Great team of positive minded individuals, willing to make a memorable experience for each individual under their care.
Thank you for the experience and for a job done very well guys !!

Mountains are mesmerizing and enchanting and at the same time mountains are unforgiving. If someone asked me why did I choose Adventure Pulse and the team of Sam and Sauraj to embark on my first ambitious journey of submitting the highest base camp of the World. It was for their impeccable record of safety. When I read a school testimonial saying they both took a bunch of unattended school children to the EBC, my thought of signing up was crystallized. The last bit of apprehension was wiped out when I spoke to Sam and Sauraj. They are veterans of the mountains and comfort and ease they bring to your anxiety is remarkable. They will go any extent to make the trip memorable and safe without compromising on any. One such incident was the weather turned bad on us before we took off from Kathmandu to Lukla. Flights were cancelled and then these guys hired 5 choppers to fly us all to Lukla. They go any miles to make this a customized experience from day you land into Kathmandu. Other and one of the most enriching part of going with these guys are real life stories they have to share every single day. I will do these treks many more times with Adventure Pulse.

There aren’t enough words to define just how beautiful the trail through the Markha valley, to the summit of Kang Yatse 2 is, nor any that do justice to how amazing it is to have Adventure Pulse lead you through it. As you make your way across the Markha river and wade into its icy waters from time to time, each day is packed with adventure and competes hard to outdo the one before it, offering you stunning vistas of the mountains, tonnes of exotic wildlife, unimaginable contrasts of colours, stunning sunsets and gorgeous meadows to camp in that serve you some of the craziest night skies you’ll ever have a chance to see. I’ve been on lots of expeditions with Adventure Pulse and just when I think I’ve seen it all, these guys go and raise the bar even higher!
It isn’t just the luxury of their super clean portable loos, unbelievably hospitable and ever cheerful camp staff, the delectable meals, or the dreamy comfy mattresses and pillows in their spacious tents (that give you just the right amount of comfort in the rustic charm of the outdoors to help you get a good night’s sleep at high altitude). It’s the attention they pay to every little detail, every step of the way and how seamlessly they do it each and every time.
Anyone can make a good impression when things are going well in the mountains. It’s how they respond in times of trouble that really sets the leaders apart from the pack, and Adventure Pulse does this with the kind of finesse you can’t help but marvel at. Their commitment to the safety of their entire team and the concern and care with which they treat their clients and staff alike is unparalleled. From ensuring that they always carry bottled oxygen, a medical kit that is equipped for every possible exigency, and providing emergency cash for evacuations and medical care (for their staff members too), to taking the time to make sure everyone had the right kind of climbing gear and getting to know each person well enough to tell exactly when they’re struggling and how to help them through it, these guys are undoubtedly experts in their field and you couldn’t hope to be in safer hands.
On this expedition, I saw our team leader Samir personally talk, trek, tug and tow our group all the way to the 6250 m summit of Kang Yatse 2 (setting a whole new record for the largest team to do so in the region over the last 3 years). More importantly saw him and the Adventure Pulse staff (Nawang, Padma and Stanzing) make multiple trips back and forth every few minutes, right through the 18 hour summit push so that they could be there to guide each of us back to the safety of base camp, keeping everyone’s spirits high and earning us bragging rights that I believe they deserve majority of the credit for.
No matter where I’ve been, I’ve always felt that has truly been a pleasure to trek with Adventure Pulse. To climb with them however, is an absolute privilege.

Accidental the way I got connected with Sam, Sauraj and Adventure Pulse… A forward from an old associate and friend which spoke about an Everest Base Camp trek… Cut to a few months later some of us signed up for this and more new connects made, a few ( read many) discussions with Sam ( 8-10 Desk Jockeys worried about a trek with a high difficulty grade) who kept all of us in check with the fears being addressed….
The attention to detail by Adventure Pulse was phenomenal and the ‘Individual Attention’ given specifically to the folks who signed up before the trek started and then later on during the course of this trek - encouraging and motivating us that it can be done all the while keeping a watch on how all of us were taking to the altitude and physical strain was particularly noteworthy… ‘Logistically extremely well arranged’ with great stays and breathtaking views along the way this EBC trek was an absolute blast which I shall forever cherish…
I didn’t walk away with just a feather to my cap with reference to a Trek but with Lifelong friends in Sam/Sauraj and Adventure Pulse and also some great friendships forged in the walk up and down to the base camp… I have signed up for some and gone for a few treks over the years with Adventure Pulse and they continue to impress with each outing with them.
I ( including my kids - yes they've joined us in some of the treks) shall continue to walk with them and hope some of you reading this join us in rediscovering the Great Outdoors ( written in the middle of the Lockdown ) and hopefully we meet during one of their treks….

Dear Sid,
Thank you so very much for taking the time from your schedule and capturing in words a fantastic experience and friendship. I can't believe at times, that this literally started as a trek considering it has lasted eight years and several experiences, un related to the mountains. Has been a complete blast having you as a friend and I'm so happy, to have had the pleasure of your kids joining us as well. Eagerly look forward to many more adventures, even if it is around Bangalore.
Best Wishes

My trek experience started with adventure pulse, with my very first trek to EBC in 2014. Prior to that I had not even done a local trek but thanks to Samir & Sauraj’s push, guidance and earnest interest in teaching one the ropes, I have completed multiple treks with them including Killi in 2016 and few local treks around Pune & Chadder. I love their extreme planning on itinerary, travel & stay arrangements, the excellent guide / trek coordinator support and most of all cross check on our fitness and giving specific instructions in terms of excercise regime to follow to buck up prior to the trek. It’s their personal attention to each trek member and easy communication that helps in building trust and a enjoyable trek experience. Thank you Samir & sauraj for the fun times trekking together and look forward to many more with you all.

Dear Mary,
Thank you so very much for incredible words of appreciation and praise. It has been such a pleasure having you for each and every one of our treks. Extremely surprising to learn that the EBC was your very first trek, especially as you are, beyond a doubt, one of the strongest people we have had the pleasure of taking for a high altitude trek. From your endurance, to the incredible positive energy you bring on each and every trek, it has been a pleasure having trekked with you; making you an extension of our Adventure Pulse family.
Looking forward to many more adventures ahead.

Thank you Samir and the Adventure Pulse team for the adventure of a lifetime!
From the moment our group committed to go and contacted Adventure Pulse, we were guided with what to pack and informed on what to expect. They did an outstanding job with answering our questions and giving clear instructions for the days to follow. Our health and safety were top priority throughout the trip which was so important as the air thins and our bodies had to adjust. Overall, we were grateful to have a highly organised and professional team. They even personalised the journey with interesting stories and facts based on their experience of the area and introduced us to some of the locals on the way. The team was such a joy to be around even when the conditions were harsh and uncomfortable at times. It truly was an incredible experience and many thanks to the Adventure Pulse team for making the dream become a reality. Highly recommend!

Dear Liza,
Thank you so very much for the lovely words of encouragement and appreciation. For our entire team, striving to ensure your safety and facilitating a wonderful experience are the primary drivers. Reading your words of recommendation, truly is the greatest reward we can hope for... Thank you so very much. On our part, we rarely have the opportunity to climb and trek with people who are as fit as you and Vicky. Keeping up with you was definitely a challenge. Thank you once again, and we eagerly look forward to hosting you and your family for another adventure in the Himalayas.

When i signed up for this Kashmir Great Lakes trek with Adventure Pulse i thought it to be a moderately difficult trek and then our group kept on shrinking and shrinking ( COVID and other reasons) that at one point of time i really thought the trek would be cancelled.
but that's where the integrity and commitment of Adventure Pulse was witnessed by me when Sauraj explained it to me that no matter what the group size is, the trek will not be cancelled.
So our trek started with only 5 members but they exhibited the same commitment and passion throughout the tenure of the trek which made the trek memorable forever for us .
may it be the home stays or the camp site arrangements, quanlity was never compromised and our comfort was always given the top priority toilet tents ( one of them with flushing, other conventional) were managed very well by a stand by attendent who was extremely cooperative.
the kitchen and dining was a great experience, we had Indian , Chinese and sometimes Italian also courtesy the cook Pradeep and his crew and were genuinely surprised when he made a cake for one of our friends when it was her birthday.
the walking and climbing experience became less cumbersome because we were always well briefed on the previous night as to what lays ahead tomorrow, this was Sauraj and so we were prepared both mentally as well as physically for the challenges, and the accompanying guide Altaf made the walking interesting by treating us with some wild berries and some plant stems that we wouldn't have tasted had it not been for him .
All the formalities with regards to the army checking were handled with respect and with genuine concerns ,the army actually offered us tea as we were their guests.
The trek is beautiful but like in case of any trek the weather can play spoilsport this fact was itched in our minds by Sauraj during all of his briefings but by god's grace, we got sunny days for entire duration of our trek.
last but not the least, i was extremely happy to see the horsemen taking care of their horses very well ,they used to repair any damages to the saddles and carrying arrangements ( some designed by themselves, like the gas cylinder carriers ) they used to check the Naals of each leg of each horse everyday and used to repair whatever has been damaged.
thanks a lot Adventure Pulse for making my trek memorable forever!

I really enjoyed the Night Trek from Katraj to Sinhagad Fort with Adventure Pulse. After the detailed briefing from our trek leader, we started our night trek from the Katraj old tunnel. At the start, we all had a high energy level but soon we realized that it was not that easy trek. But I must say, the adventure Pulse Team had meticulous planning of every possible situation. After the small snack break, we all had chanted “Chatrapati Shivaji Maharajancha Vijay Aso! “and started our further journey. For the first time, I had seen the beautiful Night Light view of the whole Pune City. It was awesome. And do you know what the best part of our trek was? Our trek leader, Samir Patham, with his friend Sauraj Jhingan, had successfully climbed Mt Everest in 2018. Woohoo... Samir also shared his experience of high altitude treks. How he climbed Africa's highest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro, twice in mere 6 days. Also, he told us how he acclimatizes for different levels on his Everest Base Camp Trek. Thank you so much adventure Pulse for your impeccable service. I highly recommend Adventure Pulse. Those guys have an absolute experience of difficult terrain treks with an almost 100% success rate. Also, they personally give their attention to the client’s safety and security. Looking forward to my next Adventure with Adventure Pulse!!

The magnitude of completing an EBC trek is not fully realised until days and weeks !
What an incredible adventure! We had an amazing trip with Adventure Pulse and could not recommend them enough. From the minute we booked we were impressed with the communication from Adventure Pulse and their team who speedily answered all of our questions and provided us with a comprehensive pre-trek packing check list
The Adventure Pulse team briefed us comprehensively on trekking conditions and our schedule prior to departing,They gave us a detailed outline of the itinerary and what to expect which prepared us for all eventualities.Their attention to detail is reassuring to say the least, we had absolute confidence in Sameer’s and Sauraj’s (Both Armed Forces Brats) helmsmanship of AP from there on in. For the first experience abroad, in hindsight, wouldn't change a single detail.
Sameer having done over 500 treks had so much knowledge of not only the Himalayas but also medical knowledge on how to minimise the chances of altitude sickness, which none of us got. Because of him, we were able to achieve 100% success rate with all members of our group not only making base camp, but also making the difficult yet rewarding trek up to Kala Patthar.
One of the Himalayan heroes was our Sherpa Chheri, always making himself available as the personal host. In reflection my EBC advice is to go with Adventure Pulse, go hard, go prepared and go without expectations. Because the real reward will come later, reflecting on your journey a lifetime away in the warmth and comfort of your humble daily existence
I can't thank Sameer,Sauraj and their team at Adventure Pulse enough for the organization, execution, courtesy and professionalism on all aspects of the trip. They always make you feel that they truly care and take pride in providing the customer with all his needs to make his Trekking vacation a truly wonderful and unforgetable experience. Special thanks to Cheeri Sherpa for his knowledge, patience, good humour and stamina,Wonderful folks to have on such a trek making the entire adventure such a carefree and enjoyable experience.
Overall this was a lifetime trek, Going with Adventure Pulse made it the perfect trip.

Trekked with the adventure pulse team to Makalidurga in Nov 2020. It was a well organized and short 4km trek.
A few children were also supervised by the team for the trek which was noteworthy.
The age group for the group was also pretty large and the team handled everyone very intuitively.
Would definitely recommend them to someone who is a nature lover and wants to explore trekking/nature walk.
