We went there twice and found some real unique African items. Very well worth the trip, remember every thing is negotiable never take the first price.

The place is open every day but during Sunday, most of their people and crafts are brought to the Sunday Crafts Market. Though, it's still better to go hear early on Sunday as the prices are still cheaper and also it is not too crowded...More

Like all other Markets with craft and gifts from Zambia or Kongo. Don't pay the prices which you should do. Foreigners have to learn to speek about the price. For example: small Hippo (wood) - 3 US Dollar.

The village is cute and I like the way they have the crafts displayed in huts. The vendors need to be a bit more relaxed, being pushy puts off shoppers but I got pretty good prices on the things I bought.

It is a good place to look at crafts locally made in Zambia. I love shopping for home made crafts, it is a place you can always check out.

This is not a cultural village, but rather a cooperative of vendors, many of whom sell the same wares. It's a good place for souvenirs, as there's lots of variety; from hand-painted bowls to chetege, jewelry, carvings, beaded animals, paintings, batik and lots more. Be...More

A small village like place where local artists sell their products. Definitely worth a visit. And definitely a place where to get all souvenirs. Be ready do discuss about prices though. White people end up paying 50% or more more than locals anyway. :)

It is not a Cultural Village, yes the so-called artists who in my opinion are just vendors, live here, their huts are nearby and in the dry season the dancing ground is used for shows. I didn't see any production of art; in 2 huts...More
