Near main road below Sheraton hotel. It a one stop spot in the middle of Kampala. A historical story is told to bring meaning to the monument.

This is located in the center of Kampala. Though, people quite often see this near to the roundabout, there is another Independence monument located nearly one Km away from this place. Good to see both.

Small but very creatively done monument. It is about 3 meter tall. It is the unwrapping of arms and hands.

Had a great experience visiting this, and learning about the monument - was the first stop of my walking tour of the old city. Has a very powerful meaning to it. Wish freedom to everyone!
