it was a old palace which was converted to a cathedral. It is well kept and takes you in the yesteryear Era.

The place to visit if you area Christian. The Cathedral is set on one of Kampala's hill and is a prominent beacon for Christianity.

I think they wanted $10 just to take a look around. Considering most churches are free around the world, this seems a bit much. But, an absolutely gorgeous building, especially compared to most of the tin or concrete churches around.
