Home to the past four Kings of Buganda Kingdom. The tombs have the World's biggest hut as per UNESCO. Though set ablaze in March 2010. They're under reconstruction and once finished will once again show the Power of Buganda Kingdom

The Kasubi Tombs is the name of a compound of about 66 acres (27 hectare) which is famous as burial place of four former Kabakas i.e. Kings of Buganda (a territorial state within Uganda). It is located on the top of Kasubi hills, about 5 km from city center of Kampala. The compound consists of (1) main tomb area or... More

There was nothing to see just a notice board and a very knowledgeable tour guide explaning historical events. It's a shame how such an important heritage is ran down. The guard (Paul) and the tour guide were quite pleasant and friendly.

Get a tour guide and you will learn more about the Baganda, the largest ethnic group in Uganda, and their history. Unfortunately the main Kabaka's (King) hut is currently under restoration after a major fire but you can still get a good feel for this royal compound. Well worth a visit.

Although closed wasted my money by paying an admission fee to see pretty well nothing....house with a thatched roof, and a short confused lecture about the Baganda Kings.....needs alot of money spent on it to make it interesting......

Kasubi Tombs is the burial grounds for a few of Buganda's kings. A visit to the place will shed a lot of light on the culture and history of Uganda's biggest tribe - Baganda. There is a rich heritage and though part of the tombs burnt down a few years ago, the people have been able to restore them and... More

I toured this place with a friend when I was staying near Kampala. It was very interesting to walk around the grounds and to go inside and here the history involved. Worth the visit.
