Dangerous, criminal, traffic is a homicidal crush of mopeds, cars and people walking in the road. You will be targeted to be robbed, hurt or at the min mobbed and threatened. Even the police don't seem to have a strong presence there and the US...More

No hassle but just manic, hot, crowded and full of rubbish both on the stalls and on the ground. There are no rules of the road for traffic other than pedestrians should get out of the way!

The Grand Marche is an expansive market covering several blocks. There are lots of wares to choose from especially textile and leather items. It is one of the places one should visit while in Lome.
