We were very fortunate to be allowed in to this pretty couch isolated on its own roundabout. There was to be a service after we were there. We were allowed into a gallery to look down on the nave. Usually I believe it is not open for viewing but the outside is well worth a look if you have time... More

I've been here 10 years before, and at that time it didn't have tall buildings nearby so it looked bigger. But it's like the main monument to see at Namibia's capital, so still worth a visit. I'd recommend visitors to go there on Sunday, because most other days it always has bus tours parked around it. Don't forget it's a... More

Pretty much the most distinctive sight in Windhoek, a good photo op in a lovely part of the city centre. It towers over the rest of the city, lovely inside but it's real majesty is its exterior.

The Christuskirche is one of the mainattractions in Windhoek. It was built during the german period. I liked the mixture of architecture. Don´t miss it if you are here!

This church is tiny and beautiful. Next to parliament garden it is definitely a building you need to visit. From inside and outside it is a nice view. The church is in very good condition and still used with many active people.

This church is in the very centre of Windhoek and yet is so tranquil. It is on its own roundabout with free parking.

One of the prominent landmark in Windhoek and reminds you of country side churches....early 80's feel. Though quite small but well maintained and very clean. It is so quiet that you can spend your meditate :)

If there weren't palmtrees in front of the church, you would guess the church is located in Germany!

It was well worth visiting this Lutheran Chirch. They were tuning the organ when we visited so didn't experience the silence and solitude of a church, however, we enjoyed walking around and looking at the lovely windows
