We didn't have anything to eat but we had a few drinks here. Pricy but i guess the view makes up for that. The staff wasn't all that friendly as they wanted to close even though it was only 20h00. The place is also very...More

Unfortunately when we went it was closed; but we went to the Restuant which had a fantastic view of the city. The architecture of the building is different from what you would expect for Windhoek. It’s knows as the expresso coffee machine. Worth visiting as...More

Visit the museum if you are interested in Namibian history. It's walking distance from two of the hotels in the CBD if you're comfortable walking

An amazing building; but the museum itself contains relatively little, primarily photographs, well-done paintings (lacking a bit of subtlety, perhaps), and a few artifacts. It was very interesting, but I look forward to the day when the exhibits life up to the potential of the...More

This museum has three floors with an exhibition and a restaurant on the 4th floor. If you are interested in the history of Namibia, this is a good place.

One of the problems with the TripAdvisor site is the constant confusion of the independence memorial museum with the nearby national museum --- these are two different museums!
