We had some time to kill and needed wifi. They were great in accommodating our needs. Bar service excellent. Forget the guys name but he showed me around the whole place which was very intriguing. Thank you we will be back.

We ended up eating at Joe's twice in our time in Namibia. We did two seven day camping trips and we bid farewell to our travel mates at Joe's. This restaurant can seat around 400 people and is very very popular. If you want to try game meat this is the place to go. The first visit I had the... More

This restaurant is not fine dining, but it is very popular with locals and visitors and has good atmosphere. Needless to say there is good selection of game, steaks and good beers. It has a good African "buzz"

Good food, especially the game and a good selection of beers. Seating indoors and outdoors mainly bench style. Place gets very busy later in the evening as clearly tour groups come by, so don't expect a table to yourself unless you are a large group. We did not mind and met nice fellow travellers. If you want fine intimate dining... More

I have visited this bar a couple of times and have decided that it's basically a tourist trap. The food is ok but the flies around are a damn nuisance and you can't get away from them, I also thought it was an unfriendly uncomfortable place and would not recommend it at all. When we were there the wifi was... More

Their service is from outstanding quality, and their Management team are also great!! They cater for every one, the Namibian customers, the oversees visitors love this restaurant, they can eat meat from different animals, buck ,crocodile, and antelope to just mention... More

Quality food - huge portions. A place to go to, especially with people from outside of Windhoek or from overseas. Unique decor gives it an interesting ambiance

We came to legendary Joe´s Beerhouse with high expectations. They were all disappointed. The place is cramped with people. We were being placed tightly to strangers, about as close as on an economy seat in an aeroplane. Seat as many people as you can on space that is not available, this will maximize your profit. Simple calculation. While seated there... More

A very easy going place for a meal with friends but unmissable if you are visiting Windhoek. This was my third time to Namibia and third visit to Joe's. The game dishes are great and also the seafood, washed down with cold local beer. Staff are young but helpful. The indoor/outdoor arrangement creates an informal setting and the place is... More

Had dinner here both to try game meat that is said to be great here and to try out local beers. Unfortunately they didn't have beers available from Camelthorn (a local brewery) but they had a bunch of other beers and their light variants from big breweries. The prices are slightly higher than in the less famous cafes in the... More
