Didn't know what to expect but loved it. The room was wonderful outside the compound and so nr the animals which come to the mini waterholes. Great food, fabulous staff. We had a cheetah drive and luckily enough saw 2 cheetahs. The guide was brilliant so knowledgable. Would recommend it if in Namibia.

We had the chance to stay 3 nights in the Bush suite at Africats, which was a real treat. Perhaps not to everyone's liking since it is away from the main camp but for us it's private location made us feel totally free and as though we were the guardians of this beautiful home. Wonderful bedrooms and bathrooms with blissful... More

We booked the 11am tour, this was $300 each and lasted 90 mins. We were taken into two cheetah enclosures, both with 6 animals in each. Two separate groups who grew up as cubs and saw each other as siblings. We got some incredible shots, two females grooming each other and males laying around being lazy! Seeing their only leopard... Our guide was knowledgable and passionate about Africat's work. We had a great leopard sighting, and were able to track cheetah on foot. We also saw another leopard on the way back from the cheetah drive.

This visit should have been a finale to our holiday, but when we arrived at lunchtime, they said they had no record of our booking. We said we would eat whilst they sorted the matter, but no, we had to do a drive first and had to wait an hour for a driver - in which time we could have... More

I was surprised to learn that while rescuing the wildcats from farmers who would have otherwise destroyed them, the Africat foundation is not allowed to breed them.(to eliminate commercial breeding for hunting purposes probably) The whole place is well maintained and you can addopt an animal by paying a yearly fee for its food:)

Africat Foundation is focusing on the conservation of African wildlife, especially with respect to leopards. You will be collected from the beautiful campsite and will get a lot of interesting information before and during the safari. Just perfect.

After a 3 week tour of Namibia this was our final stop for 3 night, and it was a great end to our holiday. The staff are discrete, but awesome. The Rangers knowledgable and very hard working. The game park itself had everything one could expect. The accommodation was stunning, and sympathetically set into the bush. The food and drinks... More

After some confusion over what kids can or cannot do, we ended up having a fun time. Did a cheetah drive where we saw a pair feeding on a recently killed kudu. Went on a leopard drive without the kids and saw 2. Good fun.
