We had a wander in which was very interesting. One of the guys in there was very friendly and made us feel very welcome - it was a pleasure to be free to view another culture and made to feel so welcome

We paid another visit to Jummah Mosque, I always like to visit this mosque with its Africal colonial setting.
It was busy for Friday prayers, the women's entrance is across the road in a seperate building.

One of downtown's landmarks. The white outside walls literally shine in the sun. Pretty inside too. Dress modestly as it is a functioning mosque. No shorts or short skirts. Bare arms for women not appropriate. Nicest Mosque I have seen here, Friendly people

The Mosque itself is not big, you can only see a little bit of it at the front, they won't let you go much further. They have ropes for girls who they think arent dressed properly.
The people in the Mosque see very friendly and nice.

Beautiful Masjid. Well known for its architecture. The interior is beautiful and well crafted. Great to see different cultures and religions existing side by side within the same street.

One of the brighter points on the map of Port Louis.
It's worth taking a moment to admire the architecture of this place, especially the inner courtyard. You do not need to have a special outfit and they let women in.
Close to the Chinatown.

This mosque is located south east from the city center of port Louis ( Nect to Chinatown). It is walking distance to most of the major attraction of the city.
