It is must visit destination during your walk in crowdy Port Lois. I would recommend to visit Jummah Mosque in early morning. Walking around Port Loius in the afternoon ia a challenge due to the high temperature.

Authentic mosque which has kept the original architecture. Well maintained. Located in a busy street but very calm inside. A big fish pond inside.

The mosque looks beautiful in an otherwise pretty derelict neighbourhood. Very nice combination of white and green in design.

The mosque is an interesting place to visit in Port Louis, the people of the mosque can show you around and explain all the different components which is usually not the case for this kind of buildings.

Happened to be therefore on a Friday and got here just round prayer time at noon. The place was buzzing with locals. If appropriately dressed you can go inside outside prayer times. The architecture is worth seeing.
