This mosque is located in center of capital of Mauritania. Very nice architecture and desert color made this mosque more beautiful

Horrendous building

As a "kufar" you can't even dream of even getting to the gate of this kind of building in this islamic country, much less enter it, saw it from outside and thought; this is how the saudis plant their seed of discord in the muslim world with their version of islam.
The architectural design is horrendous, on my eyes; it is a modern building in the shape of a mosque, that's it. There is no attraction to it.

In downtown Nouakchott it's the city's biggest mosque with its middle eastern architecture. Nothing special except its size.

stopped by here on my way going through the city. Its a landmark in Nouakchott, but not that much to see actually.

Thus mosque is really nothing special. If you are not Muslim you will be unable to enter and from the outside is look OK but hardly worth the trouble

Biggest mosque in Nouakchott

This is the biggest mosque in Nouakchott, built by Saudi government. The design is almost similar with Al Madina Al Munawarra mosque in Madinah. Nice exterior, however not able to enter and see the interior.

from inside is really cool and nice decoration.

To big to take a picture. Cars and poles are infront of the mosk. Inside is possible to see from entrance its beautiful decoration.

モスクの前の道路に並んでいる車や電柱で写真がうまく撮れない。入口のドアから内装を観ることが出来る。奥行きがあり、美しい。
