Lac Anosy is wonderful on the all the photos that you see. The reality: It's very VERY dirty. The lake is often called Lake pee pee. Frankly, it is just one big cess pit. Get in, see it for yourself. Hold your handkercheif over your...More

This prominent monument is something everyone sees as they enter downtown, but unfortunately its potential is wasted because the water is dirty and smelly, there are lots of homeless people hanging around the park, there is open defecation and urination, and mothers who have their...More

With it's large statue in the middle and blooming Jacaranda trees nearby, Lac Anosy is nice ... from a distance. To get to the lake, I walked across a park like area where crowds of locals gathered to play games, hang out and stare at...More

It is a lake close to the center of the city. Not much to see or do, surroundings are pretty dirty. No need to go there, most likely you will pass by anyhow

Fairly basic, but it is just a lake close to the centre of Tana. There is a footpath around it and it too much garbage on the fore shores or floating.

Lac Anosy is full of sewage and garbage, the water is filthy as you would expect from a lake in the middle of a third world capital city. At various times in the year the smell is horrible. The statue/monument in the middle of the...More
