From a distance, the monument beckons with great promise, seemingly trumpeting a site not to be missed. I used the services of an on site tour guide although my spouse went around on her own as everything in the museum and grounds is well marked. The gloomy museum is a bit threadbare suggesting funding issues. The fountains have also been... More

Very interesting and definitely worth a visit. Nice but small museum with some nice attributes and many interesting photos. For ghanese standaards a lot of Information is provided. Outside of the park are some annoying street vendors. Dont get trapped by them.

I haven't been to the memorial park in over a decade but decided to visit when I came to Ghana with my partner and was slightly sad at the fact that it wasn't being taken care of seeing as it is the resting place for our founding father. It little museum was however very interesting and enlightening

Lovely park to walk around with some interesting statues and educations plaques to read. Museum is basic and needs some renovations but overall is a great introduction to an important era of ghanaian history.

This location was top on my list of places to visit in Accra and I must say I was not disappointed! I am very politically aware especially as it concerns my Africa, Kwame Nkrumah is one of my favorite African heroes so visiting the park and his final resting place was a big deal for me. The museum was my... More

This spacious and enormous park shows both the rise and fall of Nkurumah in a nicely way. I liked the comprehensiveness of the story one comes out with after walking around the park including his grave. Looks like a popular spot for brides and grooms too.

One thing I can say about the museum is it made me realise how little I knew of Ghana's history. So for me, I did learn a few interesting things, even about Africa. The museum is an easy find, take an uber there. The grounds are not too well maintained and the museum looks just as you'd expect an old... More

A nicely Designed Park with memorablia museum, Pools and lawns, befitting the status of Kwame Nkrumah as the father of the Ghanaian Nation. And of course his tomb is there as well. as is his wife's
