A good place to be told Ghana's history

This is a good place to go and experience Ghana's history- especially about its past leaders. I would suggest you get a good guide to talk you through the history. There is a... read more

An excellent introduction to Kwame Nkrumah and his importance to both Ghana and West Africa. Well worth a visit.

Very small but highly informative museum. Really could use a makeover but still learned a lot. Cost was very small, worth a quick stop for sure

The mausoleum and accompanying museum were interesting and historically significant landmarks to visit. The museum was not well-maintained, however.

Great place to visit if you are looking for a good selfie to remind you of Ghana but they need to be more customer or client-focused. Their facilities also need regular cleaning

Its within the park itself, the same entry ticket to the park will work. Camera is not allowed. It has 100's of photos of the first president. His desk is still there. If you are looking for history - a must place to visit.

This is a good place to go and experience Ghana's history- especially about its past leaders. I would suggest you get a good guide to talk you through the history. There is a Market opposite this place with good handmade crafts if you are a souvenir collecting person- a fine place to pick something!!

If you're up for fountains sans water and a museum sans interpretation, this place is for you. Honestly, a day's work by an earnest history or politics student would bring this up to par, along with some air conditioning inside. The park is pretty enough, with nice shade trees. Most interesting, I thought, was a statue that had been toppled... More

Smallish but well kept park, which houses both the mausoleum and a small museum. Interesting and a bit of calm away from hectic Accra traffic. Fountain statues are very good. Usual hawkers at the gates but don't feel compelled to buy anything.

The mausoleum makes a great photo and is an impressive last resting place of the late first president.. His wife is also buried nearby. I have reviewed the park setting and museum under separate cover despite being a single attraction. There is a lot of history associated with the sight. The choice of this tomb is not accidental.

This is a well laid out tribute. The museum though small, has a lot of information. It could use a bit more restoration as the pictures are starting to fade. Worth paying a quick visit.. Shouldn't take more than 30 min.
