This center or house is packed with so much real history. It felt like I was reading a book. Going through the rooms was like turning the pages of the book. My guide definitely knew her history. The Center is well-kept and inspiring.

The history of WEB DuBois is an important one. The museum is quite small though so it is not a must-see, but if you are interested in the subject then you may want to stop by.

The center has Dr. Dubois' casket entombed in a separate building. Next to it is a pedestal table with his wife's ashes inclosed in a glass case. Quite a memorial.

The Dubois Center is an excellent cultural center that deserves a visit if you are coming to Accra. Events are often held to commemorate Dubois and other African-American icons.
