A nice and relatively clean beach to spend a bit of leasure time and have a drink, but it's never relaxed due to the endless stream of vendors and hustlers trying to score some money.

Firstly we had to pay a fee to enter the beach but we did notice that it was much cleaner than other beaches we had been to and there was a lot going on along the beach .. but you do tend to be approached by many sellers! The beach was lovely though and also lively .. we would return... More

We arrived at the beach and it did look gorgeous - miles of wide golden sand, beach bars and so on. However within about 1 minute of being there, our group were pounced on by people seller everything from bracelets to paintings and, although they were of course very friendly, they would not leave us alone. The same with the... More

Labadi Beach is where the beach action is within Accra. There are several bars and food joints to sit or lie down (optional under parasols). Most of the bars playing also loud music. Flying traders are offering their goods (mostly local art) and services, like manicure, pedicure, massages, dance shows etc. This makes the beach sub-optimal for sun bathers and... More

Nonstop hawkers trying to sell you their wares. Believe me some do not want to take no for an answer. I thought the beach was clean enough and the breeze from the Atlantic was great on a 93 degree day.

Coming from Lagos, Labadi beach is a pretty clean beach. I cam eat night so it was cool, walked in the sand bare-footed. If you are a party freak, there are lots of shops there where dance parties hold. There are also seats at the beach where you can sit and have drinks. I do not know about entrance because... More

This is an unclean and unpleasant experience. The beach/sand isn't maintained and feels generally grubby and unsafe

This is Accra's party heaven as per the natives. On our friday morning stroll along the beach we could see party preparations going on with tall wooden platforms with DJ setup being readied for the non-stop party over Friday-Saturday night!
