I visit Carbon on Thursday evenings usually starting from about 9pm. I enjoy the amazing live band music until midnight when the Thursday night club starts. The live music is my favourite thing, and then there's the delicious grilled prawn barbecue. One of my favourite hangouts with friends.

Never been there but want to hangout one of these weekends, feeling so bored alone.

I got to Carbon at around half twelve and the club was heaving. The atmosphere was energetic with great music including a live band outside (every Thursday) and an on point dj inside. As a solo traveller I had a really fun and enjoyable time, with friendly interaction with others.

I thoroughly recommend making a stop at Carbon :)

This club is trying to be sophisticated but ends up being a mess. We went there at about mid night. The dance floor and its surroundings were almost empty so we sat at the semi-open terrace and asked for the drinks menu. The waiter brought a menu that had only BOTTLES of wine, liquor and champagne with real expensive prices. We didn’t want to drink bottles but glasses of something. So we asked if he had a cocktail menu. Then he brought another menu with glasses of various drinks.
So, they try to “force” you to buy very expensive BOTTLES of drinks giving the impression that you can’t have glasses of anything. We stayed there for about an hour and a half and decided to go home. When we left, there still weren’t enough people to fill a quarter of the club! The music was ok but the atmosphere was so pretentious and boring, we are NEVER going back!

I was with my husband and it was a nice night, we enjoyed the music and the people were fun. The waiters are full of life, the location is nice. However, we ordered for a single gin and had a half gin.
The price is good but well order a bottle next time.

Worse club one could ever visit in Accra,14th of July was my first & definitely my last time of visit, uncouth & unprofessional staff with no customer service relations, pretentious & eye service kind of treat. Guests are told tables are fully reserved mean while club is as empty as a hollow barrel. I hope this club employes experienced staffs who do not argue with clients and understand hospitality business.
Am afraid I don’t see this club lasting to long in Accra due to my first time experience.
Am the lady with the Braids who owns a beach resort in Kenya .

So infuriated. They discriminate against physically disabled individuals regardless of the degree of incapacity. I have a knee injury hence unable to wear heels. They wouldn't allow me to enter because I wore flat shoes. The bouncer also told I can't come to carbon on Fridays if I can't wear heels. I even showed him the scar from the surgery and he couldn't be bothered.

I'm done with carbon

Visited Carbon with a few friends and stayed for an hour or so.

Getting into the club was slightly irritating as security asked us if we had a reservation which we replied no. They then looked each of us up and down - which was rude aswel as uncomfortable, before deciding to let us in.

The main part of the club is slightly smaller (where the DJ and bar are based) We sat down at a table with stools but we were unaware the table was 5000 cidis minimum spend at the bar to be able to sit there for the night. For that amount of money (equivalent to roughly £1000) I think the club should invest in better tables, rather than stools and short tables.

We asked the waitress if there was an alternative seating area and we were taken out of the main bar to a red seating area. We sat for a little while but it was clear that the "party" really wasn't in that area so we left.

The music was good. And the lift to carbon is pretty (great selfie background).

Wouldn't return out of choice (i.e would only come back if a friend held a birthday party here) as Carbon comes across quite pretentious. Trying to meet London Mayfair standards but doesn't quite hit the mark.
