very crowded area, the square located in the center, very near to BIAZZA, most of transports are very closed to it

Large auto roundabout with a plaza in the middle, mostly surrounded by government buildings. Tough to navigate on foot, not really much here. Surrounding streets have the restaurants and shops. Plaza in under construction as of July 2018, so that might contribute.

I arrived in Addis on the anniversary of the battle of Adowa. I visited this monument to honor King Menelik II. It is impressive. It was on a roundabout so my driver went around it a few times to allow me to soak it in.

If your on a visit, stop by and take some pics. This is something that all walks of life can gain knowledge from and asking the real questions. Can't wait to see it again in 2017

The history of 5 years occupancy was more than they could barely. I'm proud they did not just let other nations run over them and disrespect their people,heritage and independence. Bravo Ethopia!!!
