Stopped by for an hour during a business trip and was impressed by how well this place is organized. Plenty of different little shops. Art crafted right behind the stores. Excellent, quality articles. Don’t forget to bargain though ;-)

We were particularly taken by the large contemporary bronze pieces. Would like to have bought one, but with little French, it all seemed to hard to negotiate shipping. Way better than your average tourist tat market.

Go here first, they have it all and remember to bargain. Brass, fabric, baskets, wood carvings and an extensive selection of Tuareg leather tooled items. Takes at least an hour to go to all stalls
