Friendly staff helped to show off the wide variety of merchandise available without being pushy or annoying. After we made our selections, they meticulously bubble wrapped each item. I thought the prices were very reasonable. There were a few, clearly marked, made in China items, but almost everything else was hand crafted in Botswana, South Africa or Zimbabwe. Definitely worth... More

There are also some nice souvenirs in Botswanacraft although they are a little expensive. They have a nice collection of locally weaved baskets along with other stuff. The local Setswana food at Botswanacraft is great. Definitely try the beef or goat seswaa or the oxtail. I really like the beef seswaa. I really like the beef seswaa. You also can... More

Nice staff, but nothing which you could not get anywhere else in Africa, but uncomparably more expensive.

Botswanacraft has a great collection of art and local crafts. They represent a local artists' collective. I love shopping there because each purchase goes back to local artisans and the people of Botswana. They also have a great courtyard and restaurant which serves fantastic meals outdoors when the weather is right. I don't miss Botswanacraft when I go to Gaborone.

I really enjoyed this place! They offer Setswana food (which is really good- I had spinach, beef seswaa which is basically pounded meat & bogobe jwa lerotse; a starchy side made from sorghum and local variety of squash). The environment is great for entertaining clients. They also have a small store to get souvenirs.

Botswana craft has all the items unique to Botswana that you will find elsewhere, but all in one place at a steep markup. If you are willing to pay more and are short on time, it is the best place to stop. The venue has a fun outdoorsy vibe for concerts and performances too. However, if you have time to... More

Here you can view and buy cultural artifacts like sculptures, baskets, pottery and other indeginous artifacts. Also the Restaurant offers best meals by far in the city. Value for you money.
