This place is a photographer, poet, or painter's dream. The brilliant water lashes against the ship carcasses, invoking a sense of awe and wonder regarding the story of each one. It is far away from the city but not so much that you have to...More

Some locals call this place ‘titanic’ because of this ships. I have no idea why how these ships ended up here, so did my guide. The beach here is loaded with plastic waste, very sad to see. Partially are clean if you keep walking. You...More

If you want a pristine beach to rest in the sun, go somewhere else. This beach is incredible in terms of the amount of rubbish that the ocean currents deposit form Luanda onto the beach. Those same currents also dump over 50 shipwrecks onto or...More

It's very interesting to see, but it's definitely more a Ship Junkyard, nevertheless, the appropriate entities should turn this in an outdoor museum.

Great place to visit but difficult to get to. Very nice beach. Shipwrecks are right on the beach. I did get hassled by the police and paid a fee to take pictures.

Ship's Cemetery (Graveyard) - Interesting only if you have not been to one. There is nothing more there except rotting ships everywhere.

It's a bit of a find to get the right road, and there is not much happening, but once you arrive after hectically getting out of cacuaco and risking the sand and dirt roads it's quite a special sight to see the ruined shipwrecks. It's...More

After reading the latest reviews in which people were robbed we were not so sure about visiting here. A little forward planning is required. Make sure to visit on a sunny day and it has not rained previous day as well. The road is really...More

The road to the place was confusing and in bad shape. Once in the place, the beach was empty of people and full of garbage. Even like that, it worth the visit, you can get very close to some ships.
