Islands when over built close their charm, plus when it rains, all the rubbish from town, end up there. The is a side that is less built and still beautiful. Nonetheless, is a popular destination with lots of bars, beach houses and hotels.

Never know that Luanda, Angola have beautiful beach. If only not much of a restriction imposed, i believe the place can be as popular as Bali here. The only setback is that there isn't any halal establishment to cater to Muslims traveller.

The island has no traffic, all transport is taken care of by small boats. There are various resorts and hotels dotted along the coast of the island with view of the city of Luanda.

Hello how far is this from the Quatro De Fevereiro airport in Luanda? Can I get a taxi there and how much should I expect to pay by taxi?

The stated price 1500 kwanzas is for taxi just from Airport to boat docking area. But the boat charging price was 2000 kwanzas. Not expensive in relation to Angolan Prices.
