After many investigative hours on Tripadvisor, I decided to go with ClimbKili tour company to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro because of all the positive reviews. I'm happy to report that all the wonderful reviews were correct. We stayed at the Summit Lodge in Arusha. It was nice and clean with hot water showers. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. There is a little restaurant there at the lodge where we ate all our meals. We had one relax day before we started our trek, so we hired one of the cars ($20) to take us into town to do some shopping at the Massai market and the Cultural Center. Great spots for souvenir and tanzanite shopping. The day before the trek we met our lead guide Seraphine. He turned out to be wonderful! He and his staff took care of our every need no matter how small or big. We had 3 porters for every climber, three guides, a chef, and a waiter. There were both men and woman in our group

The trip in general was very well organized, and our tour guide Dickson was very helpful throughout the trip. Recommend this to anyone who doesn't have time for Serengeti but still wants to experience the Safari.

Adventure tours and Castro exceeded my expectations. From the minute I landed Castro meet me and made my stay very comfortable and showed me around Moshi helping me to get some local currency. The Keys Hotel was just what I expected and the staff were great for my stay the night before and the days after my trek. I was on a solo trek and Honest, my guide, was fantastic, as well as Masunga my cook. I felt very special with the treatment by the team during my 7 day trek. Honest was very considerate of my needs and paced the trip so I was never rushed or physically challenged. I would recommend the 7 day trek, based on my experience, I did not suffer from any altitude sickness. I did take Diamox, so not sure how much of my situation was due to our pace or the medicine. But, I credit my success to Honest, my guide, and Masunga, my cook. The food was excellent and most of the time more than I could eat. I highly recommend Castro and Adventure Tours for your Kilimanjaro Trek.
