I used Joining Safaris for excursions all over Tanzania and loved them all! Erick was amazing at helping us select which excursions to do when and helped facilitate a great experience from start to end! We did a 5 day Safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, Lake Manyara, and Ngorogoro. Rashid, our guide and Nora, our cook were fantastic! We also did a day hike of Mt Kilimanjaro which was also amazing! They had the whole day planned for us and it was so smooth! We also did the hot springs and waterfall and coffee plantation. Every experience was well-planned and such a deal! I would recommend Joining Safaris to anyone!!

I have been to over 60 countries and 5 different African countries on safari. This was hands down the best tour operator and guide experience we have ever had. Eric was highly responsive, detailed, helpful, courteous and very organized. He helped to plan and manage our entire trip and did an excellent job. The food, lodging and transportation was awesome and he arranged countless other details with permits etc. Emmanuel was the best guide we have ever had by far! He was super knowledgeable, kind, responsive, helpful and timely. He became a dear friend to our entire family. We saw the Big Five within 48 hours! We learned all about the animals and so much more, all sorts of facts about Tanzania and it’s wonderful people. We cannot say enough good about our experience. It was top notch in every way—super well planned and unforgettable. We love Joining Safaris!!!

Erick and his company were recommended to us by multiple folks, including someone who has worked in Tanzania for years and knows the best people and places. We were NOT disappointed. Erick went above and beyond multiple times for us, treating us like family, making sure we had everything we might need or want, and that we were safe at all times. Our driver, Benson, was wonderful. How he was able to spot the lone leopard (the last of our big five) sleeping in a tree from several hundred yards away is something I'll never understand. His eagle eye, knowledge of the animals and places, and warm friendship made the trip truly unforgettable! He anticipated any needs and tailored the safari to exactly what we wanted. Nora, the cook, prepared hearty and abundant food for us...the popcorn as an appetizer at the end of every day before dinner was a delicious, unexpected treat. And I will never ever forget watching the sunrise on Easter morning on the Serengeti! This safari was truly everything we could have hoped for and more. If you're looking for an adventure of a lifetime, you've found it in Erick and Joining Safaris!

First of all, Eric, the coordinator is really fast to respond, flexible and helpful! Prices are fair, a real bargain compared to other companies (prices go ridiculously high depending on the company). The Safari itself was super flexible too, we chose to camp instead of sleeping in a lodge and it was the right call! Tents, sleeping bags and food were accounted for, and the camping sites were super interesting. The Ngorongoro camp even had Girafes roaming right next to it (unfenced) and Zebras running between the tents now and then! Nora, who came with us and cooked delicious and traditional food was very kind and caring, and the dishes were amazing! (We are vegetarian, and there was no compromise in the vegetarian dishes she served!) Luckily for us, we saw all of the big five, and Benson, our guide did a great job in predicting and catching closer glimpses of the rarer animals. He even managed to show us the albino buffalo that we heard about in the radio signals. Besides that, he taught us a lot of things about all the different animals and even the local culture as well as just generally being pleasant company. Never felt misunderstood and we could always ask if there was any need. I can only recommend Joining Safaris to anyone lookign to visit the national parks, albeit Safaris in general being expensive due to all the logistics, organising etc., these guys offer a bargain compared to others, and are well worth every penny. Also be sure to reach out if you have any individual needs, another route or else, Eric was really always ready to help and change things according to our needs. :)
