Waterbuck is incredibly professional and responsive. I emailed them to ask if they could connect me to others making the same trip to Mikumi Natl Park since I was traveling solo. They put me together with a fun group, and we ended up seeing all the major wildlife! Also definitely stay at Vuma Hills, feeding bush babies while sipping wine... More

We had a great time exploring the nationalparks. We saw and learned a lot of the wildlife because J4 has a good eye and a lot of experience. We can highly recommend a guided tour otherwise you will miss a lot. We felt always save, had a lot to laugh and the food was always delicious. Thanks a lot for... More

We visited Mikumi National Park, as well as Uzungwa National Park with Waterbuck Safari. Our driver and guide through Mikumi was very nice. He was very knowledgeable and told us interesting facts about the animals, without overdoing it or being too invasive. He gave us plenty of time to look at all the animals and answered all our questions. Likewise,... More

We did a two day safari into Mikumi National Park and It was amazing. Our guide Abel was great and knowledgeable. Just be aware its a lot of driving to get to the park and to get back! The food was very good and our lodge was amazing We did one that was off the beaten path literally and highly... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our safari to Mikumi with Waterbuck. For us everything was a treat: the villages we went through, the people we met, the animals we saw, the calm and silence of the savanna and then its sounds! We stayed at Vuma Hills and that, in itself, was worth the trip. Vuma Hills is a wonderful... More

Overall we had a good experience, the Zarafa camp is amazing!! The food is soooo good, and the service is impeccable. Our driver was amazing too, he really tried to find as many animals as possible. We really enjoyed the walking safari! One game drive is not enough, you'll see more animals if you get two game drives. The only... More

A fab tour set up! From the minute we emailed asking for information, to getting pick up at the hotel and being safely transported to the national park and back! Lazareth was a competent and friendly guide, yes the car does not have AC but given the length of the drive it was comfortable and I enjoyed the experience seeing... More

I was on business in Dar in January 2016 and decided to go on safari over a weekend. This is my very first experience, so I had no expectations. I picked Waterbucks based on Tripadvisor reviews. The cost of the trip was $460 because it was shared among 3 persons. If I were to go solo, it would be $880+.... More
