This park has the potential to be great. They have large spaces and grounds. Unfortunately the zoo is in the old victorian style and the animals are obviously unhappy in their small cages. The entrance fee of US$20 for foreigners is really expensive; but the...More

Needed a lot of walking to cover the whole area, it's a large compound with play area for kids and few refreshment spots. Saw ostrich, turkey and zonki for the first time.

This zoo is not big but good for kids to know about animals. Kids can see them directly and enjoy the best feeling

This zoo although far located from the city centre - has a wide variety of wild animals as well as dangerous species such as crocodiles and poisonous snakes!

Not a very attractive place. Looks run down. Why do you go to a zoo to see animals in a country with plenty of National Parks and Reserves.

It's quite a way from the city centre on a very bad road. You also need to catch the ferry back, so plan accordingly. To be honest, it's not really worth the effort to get there

I can't remember exactly but if it was US $8 for Foreigners locals were something like TSH3,000 or TSH4,000. But don't hold me to it it was last August when I went.:)
