Our tour of Rabat started with a visit to the Royal Palace. As other reviewers have noted we can not approach too close to the palace - we had to stay across a several lane wide "road". Our tour guide changed the visit from an...More

Very strong security around the Palace. Made it clear not to go too close. Weren't fond of cameras either. Pleased we didn't make a special trip to visit!

It gives a good impression of the nationa thinking about the Royal Family and her livingstyle. I'm not sure how close you can come individual We had a guided tour.

Royal Palace of Rabat is impressive from a distance. Unfortunately you can't get much closer. The architecture is stunning and stands out. Hint: expect limited access, good camera, try and get good views from a distance it's worth it !!

I basically got to tour the grounds but not the palace itself. Not sure if there is an actual tour of the palace.

I think it is not worth visiting it, unless you have a lot of free time in Rabat. The building is not open to the public and the terrace has nothing special. Plus there is passport control and this can take a while.
