Right in the center og town. Open to the public and under restoration. You must have Moroccan mint tea, while enjoying the scenic sea view.

Full disclosure: we visited this in pouring rain, which may have dampened (literally) our enthusiasm. Nice to view from the outside (walls, cannon), but once you're inside, pretty ho-hum.

Beware of pop-up tour guides that try to take you on tours and expect a tip. You can easily walk and navigate the streets yourself. Very photogenic, but tiny streets are a little stinky (think cat pee/poo) and it's easy to get lost. Worth the...More

Located at the mouth of Rabat's Bou Regreg, the Kasbah des Oudaias is a must-see. Start with a visit to the residential filled with narrow "streets" and colorful walls and doors. Once inside the actual Kasbah, the beautifully maintained gardens are a private oasis.

The gardens are small yet beautiful. There is a small museum. The real attraction lies just past the gardens, having a mint tea with a view of the ocean. The tea is 10 dh, and cookies are priced per piece. Tour buses roll thru here...More
