Watch out for helpful kid and "students" who say it is closed, they just want to guide you to a shop to get commision. A remarkable place to see, visit the synagogue also. Lots of info there and nice to see.

Quite close to all the other attractions, but very quiet. Quite spooky, really. Definitely worth a look - and some good views of the Atlas in the background.

The cemetery is huge and well kept. The entry is quite emotional since we see right away a sea of small children tombs who died from the plague centuries ago. A must to see in Marrakech.

It is possible to roam the cemetery and note the names and dates of those who are buried here. Be sure to ask questions of the attendant at the front entrance.

Have wanted to visit this cemetery for years and finally been, it's a beautiful place and very humbling. The keeper is very keen to discuss the history and will open the little shrine if you want to light a candle.

Miaara monument is actually the Jewish cemetery, located in the Jewish area. Not of special interest in my opinion, so we preferred stroll further in the Jewish block.
