we had no idea what we were in for when we came across the souks only a few hundred metres from our hotel you can get and see anything from a haircut to a motor bike wheel, pigs heads , fish , spices, snake charmers...More

Rough, rude, dishonest traders. It takes the fun out of the experience. Also the Souks at night is not pleasant, my husband stopped a pick pocketer from going into my bag. Buy your stuff from a supermarket it's less hassle!

If you want to visit an original Moroccan Suq skip this. Go to Fès and visit the real places of the art crafts, go to Safi and visit the pottery making.. But honestly what you'll find here is just a commercial very bad quality imitation...More

We have been to both Egypt and Tunisia, and the sellers here are by far the most aggressive!!! watch out for blokes who latch on to you and follow you around trying to interest you in everything!!!

Hi, yes you will find lots of djellabas in the souks and in shops around Marrakesh. Ranging from cheap and cheerful ones and some much more elaborate expensive ones.
