You have to go here by day and by night. By day it there are sellers, snake charmers and a lot else. By night you can get a meal outdoors which is good quality but not cheap by Moroccan standards, but still not bad.

Vibrant exciting place to visit. Nice food stalls and restaurants in the side. Worth a visit during the day for fresh juice and night for restaurants.

It is a tale of two sides, it has a totally different atmosphere in the daytime compared to the evening, both are unique and must be experienced. The snake charmers, henna ladies, story tellers, musicians etc,etc will keep you entertained, even if you dont understand...More

A crazy, lively, frantic ball of pure energy that must be experienced to be believed- that's the Jemaa el Fna at nighttime. Grab a meal at one of the many food stalls, and just sit and take in the atmosphere

This is the famous square filled with snake charmers, musicians and merchants. Ringed by carts with food and crossed by horse drawn carriages. Walk through then go to a cafe with a second story viewing area.

We visited the square by day and also at night for the experience of the food market and were not disappointed.

Although the vibe is certainly 'one of a kind' and do think everyone should go at least twice (once in the day, once in the evening) while in Marrakech, you need to be in the right frame of mind. Take it with a pinch of...More

Busy, hectic, amazing, an experience. Some really pushy people but a must if only once. The monkeys on chains and the doped up snakes are a bit upsetting as is the obvious poverty but, still worth going. Be careful when the Henna women start putting...More
