An amazing location to be especially at night. We spent some time in the square of every evening in our 5 day stay in Marrakech. The square is full of hustle and bustle and turns into a large party at night with street performers, food...More

Obligatory stop in a trip in Marrakech, wonderful the atmosphere that changes from day to night. I didn't like to eat in local stands in evening, in my opinion too touristy. Beautiful view from the terraces on the square.

Crazy...More

I don't know what is the hype about this place other than cheap delicious food. There are many such open crowded squares all around the world.

The square is crazy both day and night with sellers trying to sell you everything from tissues and henna tattoos to pictures with snakes and monkeys wearing sunglasses. At night the square turns into a food market selling evening meals for cheap prices. The food...More

Really good authentic perception of Marrakech. Busy at night always be careful as it looks like an ideal place for pick pockets. Apart from that is got a really nice vibe atmosphere

Yes - you should be fine. Very busy but perfectly safe if you keep your wits about you. Have a great trip. I would happily go back and plan to at some point.

We pretty much walked to it however we did take a taxi twice to some other places and felt safe. You could ask your hotel to organise a taxi for you as that's what we did. But when in the square you need to be persistent and... More
