At first I was a bit disappointed by the building and the exhibition. Nothing really different from all the other sites I have visited in Marrakech but then we discovered a few small rooms towards the end of the exhibition with beautiful paintings and gorgeous...More

I had always planned to visit this museum, and we were staying nearby, but I had considerable doubts on reading a number of poor reviews. On entering, having paid an expensive 50dh for each of us, the central hall of this restored palace is impressive,...More

The Museum of Marrakesh is a beautiful, historic building and it was lovely to get out of the hubbub and into the relaxing site. Unfortunately, none of the signage is in English - so if you do not speak French, then you will not understand...More

The museum is just beside the Madrasa Ben Youseff (currently closed) and is housed in a recently renovated palace. The building itself is beautiful with wonderful mosaic patterning. There are a variety of exhibits including jewellery, pottery, weapons and pictures. You will need some French...More

Great place to take photos. Gives off that authentic moroccan feeling. Nice architecture and art. Walking distance from jema al fna. Don't leave Marrakech without a visit to this museum.

Wonderful building to wander around, it is a very quite and calming place, the tiling and the atrium are lovely. The displays are a little tired and unfortunately the description of them are in French so it was lost on me what they were.

Not easy to find but easy to find your way back to the main square with clear signs in the souk. Worth visiting for the attractive buildings and incricate mosaics.

Housed in a beautiful 19th venture building called DAR M’Nebhi Palace, this jewel of Marrakesh displays a fine array of Jewish, Berber and Muslim artifacts. Beautiful architecture with mosaics, woods, fountains. Worth a visit. Great picture taking opportunities.

Lovely building - but the exhibits and staging are worn out and tired. Photographs and wall hangings etc all appear 15/20 years old. Exhibits are poorly arranged and in many cases the lighting has failed, so the viewer simply can't make out what is on...More

The hardest thing was finding it with touts trying to tell us it was closed and they'd take us to the tanneries instead! Lovely interior with Moroccan tiling but limited information in English. It didn't take us very long to complete our visit.

We went directly there and we visited on our own. So, you don’t need a tour guide. Maybe you can book it there, I think that it’s better.

Sorry I didn't see your question until now. I didn't make a note of the price but am pretty sure it was 30d. There was very little that cost more than that!
