Go, you have to go. Don´t expect to much, just feel the timeless art... Escape from the guides, you can do yourself with a little help from google. But, pay attention: google maps is not always right in Marrakesh.

Of course there is the rich architecture, ornaments and reliefs, but what really makes impression are the students accomodations, this was no comfortable dormitory - the students had it really hard, go there and see for yourself. Very much worth visiting

This is a great venue to escape all the shop keepers and see the reason why Marrakesh was considered a center of learning.. As a religious school in distance past, this was a place for not only spiritual teachings, but also of mathematics and astronomy....More

A unique building. Lovely unique tile work is very enigmatic. Very low entry fee too. Make sure you visit this part of Marrakech.

Beautiful place to visit when in Marrakech very close to riad I was staying at. Definitely have to visit when visiting Marrakech.

Depends how young they are, it's architecture, so their interest might wander if you stay too long. Nothing inappropriate inside and well worth the visit.

Around 400 and 500 dirham for a 6h tour of THE CITY, including the Madrasa.
