Restaurants, riads, café, shops, spices… It’s a landmark street in the city, very colorful, some local artists that are trying to make this part of the Medina different than the rest.

Our riad was in Mouassine, so we were there each time. Location is very colsed. Both in old medina and closed to new city, Gueliz. Using taxi costs less than orher parts of medina. The markets were nice.

What passes for one of the main streets - quite narrow in places. Beware of lunatic scooter drivers! However - wide variety of shops and wares on offer - just walking and browsing is interesting. Enjoyed the colours and variety.

so much to see on this landmark street of shops in Marrakesh medina's souk- a treat for the senses. Under cover shade from the sun.

My favourite area of the Medina, shops with interesting local artifacts instead of the cheap Asian knock-offs. Although, as in the rest of the Medina, the noisy, smelly, speeding motorcycles ruin the experience. The city government should ban them from the area.

As usualy, we have to take tour in th medina, where we found several shops that have all types of marrakech stype with very good price.

Lovely wares on sale in this street. Also a must-visit is the Musee de Mouassine. Don't forget to drink tea on the roof!

To me, the Rue Mouassine is nothing special. The upper part starts next to the large square and to the west of the Souks in the north of the Medina. Probably a less aggressive part then in the Souk Medina, perhaps more relaxed about harassing...More

I really like the quarter of Mouassine, my favorite one in medina of Marrakech. I know almost all the shops, nice bakery, good coffe shop and friendly Moroccan people.

One of the most beautiful and colorful streets in the medina with lots of interesting crafts but crowded by tourists as usual and too much hustling by vendors...
