Want to feel like a local (as much as possible) hire or buy a push bike and ride your way through the most energetic, mind altering market on the face of the planet. Do it early in the morning and get to know your way round. Hit the main square at night but keep your belongings out of sight and... More

The markets were full of life and unusual locals not only selling fruit nuts etc but also trading as snake charmers fortune tellers and henna body painters. Very crowded and can be overwhelming. Best to take a break in one of the higher level restaurants and watch from above. The evening sees the street food traders takeover which is worth... More

Night market with throngs and throngs if food stalls was fun ..however ;;one feels skeptic whether to eat off stalls considering hygiene . I was clearly told to steer away from.them due to low quality oil and poor hygiene . It's a third world country and I belong to one therefore it wasn't too much of a shock nor a... More

Amazing, the market is just incredibly full of beauty and things to see, buy, enjoy. Just lose yourself into the various small streets, plenty of hand made goods, pottery, spices, crafts, decorations, lamps, shoes, leather, shirts and food. It is very safe (still be careful of your belongings) and you can find also very funny people.

Our first experience of the Night food market in Marrakech was very very poor, where we were literally ripped off by the stall holders of No 15! Please don't be conned! Make sure you make it clear what you are ordering, especially the quantities, as they are likely to double and quadruple it! And check the menu prices in english... More

Smells amazing! Get the price per 100g before they start putting stuff in bags as they will try and change the price! Although a few stands did have the price displayed 95% did not!

My mother ate the brains of a sheep, I didn't try not my cup of tea and she enjoy it. Overall a nice food market with all kind of foods. What I really really really HATE all the men try to get you to their foodstalls with touching and pushing you to the tables! Even if I said no thank... More
