That was an experience I had been looking forward to for a long time. Spending a night in the Sahara desert, having a camel 🐪 ride and enjoying a sunset made it wonderfully enjoyable. Upon my arrival at the camping area, they prepared a delicious chicken Tajin for dinner. Special shout out the Ismael; he was super attentive to every single detail, which made me feel well accommodated.
The only regret I had (After I was heading to Fes) was purchasing two days and one night tour since there was a possibility to buy longer-term.
P.S. During the excursion, I met a lovely Italian 👭, Mirko and Angelica; I forgot to exchange contact with them. If by chance, you will see this review, guys, add me on Instagram @ihornicolas.

I went on a 2-day trip to Zagora desert and the highlight of the entire experience was our driver and guide, Ismael.
Sat in the front, Ismael was incredibly friendly and talkative, happy to explain everything to do with Morocco from his perspective, and offered a really honest view of tourism, politics, the experience of people during the lack of rain, and more! Ismael is really funny and we made jokes throughout the journey, making it seem much shorter than it was.
Ismael showed us really interesting stops along our journey and has a great understanding of the land. He also worked well with the Berber people running out desert camp, who were all fantastic and really engaging.
I cannot recommend this enough- Discover Sahara Tours is Ismael's own business and he was so excited to give tourists his version of the desert experience! Here are some photos.

The trip was breath taking! The time in the sahara was totally worth the long bus ride and Ishmael made it very easy with his funny and authentic character. We had several stops on the way for pictures at important or beautiful places.
Ouarzazat was surprisingly touristy and I would recommend taking your time away from the group to discover it on your own. You can meet at the bus at a set time when you talk to Ishmael before.
In conclusion I can really recommend this experience and take a book or downloaded movies with you for the ride!

This tour was worth every penny! It should be in everyone's bucket list. We were 8 people in a nice, clean van with Ismael, from Marrakesh to Fes, with several stops during the 3-day tour. Ismael is an excellent driver. It was awesome how everything was planned and on time at all the stops. We learned a lot about the Berber culture and visited different communities and Kasbahs. On the second day of our stop, we had a walking tour with Said, a beautiful morning walk around Tinghir. We stopped in a Kasbah to learn about the berber’s carpets, colors, and symbol meanings. We did not enjoy the food at some of the stops, so we went to other places nearby, and we found better prices and a more authentic experience than in the traditional “tourist traps”. The food stops for lunch are something that they need to improve. Of course, the best part is on the second night when we rode the camels to see the sunset and then arrived at our tents in the desert. If you have issues with your back or shoulders, I suggest you try to go to the tents by car. Everything in the desert was perfect. The food was abundant and delicious (when we were full and ready to go, they gave us the best Lamb Tahine we had on our whole trip. The tents were incredibly comfortable, with running water and an Occidental toilet. We had a firepit at night with live music under the stars. The sky was fantastic!!! Stargazing was very easy, even near some of the lights in the camp. We went in December, so you need to be prepared for a very cold night/morning.

This past week I went on a three day desert tour with this company and it was amazing! From the pick up, our tour guide Ismail was incredibly kind and informative. During our travel out to the desert, we got to stop and see Berber villages, get tours of historic sites, learn about carpet making, see mountains and canyons, and so much more. Our stay at the hotel night one was was fantastic as well. They greeted us with tea and snacks before heading up to our room to freshen up before dinner. They then set a beautiful dinner with an appetizer, main course and desert! The vibes were amazing and the staff felt more like friends. When we reached the desert, they again greeted us with tea and snacks before heading to ride our camels out to the camp. Along the way we got to stop and watch the sunset over the sand dunes and it was magical. Again the dinner and breakfast given which are included in the tour were fantastic. The only thing to note is it does get cold at night so be sure to bring layers but I was offered and extra blanket if needed. During the night at the camp, sitting around the bonfire and getting not only the watch a drum and music session but to join in and learn a little drums myself was a favorite part for me. I would recommend this tour to anyone!! Well worth not only the money but an incredible experience!
Also a side note: as a young woman traveling with her sister, we felt safe the entire time and welcomed by everyone.

We booked in last minute tour from Marrakech to desert Merzouga with “ Discover Sahara Tours “ and it was the best decision that we made during our stay in Morroco. To go to Morroco without to see the desert is worthless travel. We had safe trip with our driver Ismail Boni . He is the most kind and smiley person that we ever met , so he made our trip unforgettable! Thank you so much for your patience, professionalism and kindness!

What an amazing day!! We were picked up right on time from an easy to find location arranged in advance. Our driver, Ismail was friendly, helpful, knowledgable and fun. He took us out of Marrakesh and towards the Ouzoud Waterfalls. Along the way he took the time to tell us about the area, the people and even (tried to) teach us some basic phrases. We stopped briefly for coffee/tea and bathrooms and then continued on. Once we arrived to the waterfalls he asked if we would prefer a private guide for the hike and made sure that we were in capable hands.
It was raining the day of our tour which meant the trail was a little more difficult, but our guide was extremely helpful... even offering a helping hand when we got to some of the more muddy areas on the trail down. We stopped to see the monkeys and then went on through the olive and fig trees. He was extremely knowledgable and answered all the questions we might have. Once we reached the base of the falls we were able to go out on the water in a small boat and we joked that it reminded us of the "Lady of the Mist" boat at Niagra because we were able to get so close to the falls.
On the way back up there were small shops and even some restaurants to have lunch at. Once we were back at the top Ismail was waiting for us to bring us back to Marrakech. Along the way we needed to use the toilet and he stopped multiple times until he found us a western style toilet!!!
These guys went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great experience! 10/10 recommend booking with them. We will definitely be taking another tour with Discover Sahara Tours the next time we are in Morocco!!

We did a day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira and can't recommend this trip enough. Our driver Ismail was great. He was super accomodating and flexible to make sure the group got enough time to explore the city and stopped for sunset photos on the way back :)

We did an amazing 2 day/ 1 night private trip out to the Erg Lihoudi dunes from Marrakech with our two teenagers and our wonderful driver/guide Ismail. It was a long drive, starting before sunrise in Marrakech, but we kept a relaxed pace with lots of breaks along the way for snacks, mountain views and site-seeing so that the trip went by quickly. We stopped at the amazing Ait Benhaddou for a guided tour of the historic hilltop town as well as a nearby movie studio where they filmed Gladiator, Game of Thrones and much more. We arrived at the desert camp around sunset for an unforgettable camel ride through the dunes as well as some fun sandboarding and some crazy dune driving with Ismail (taking the car up and over the dunes was surprisingly one of kids favourite parts). Our hosts at the camp were incredibly friendly and served us more food than we could ever have eaten and entertained us with some traditional Berber music by the fire that night. An unforgettable experience I would highly recommend to anyone.

We booked the Tour - 4 Day Tour From Marrakech to Merzouga, shared group tour directly with the Discover sahara tours agency.
Unfortunately we are forced to highlight some program changes that we have undergone, without being able to choose which led to us not being satisfied with the tour.
On day 2 a night in the desert in a tent was planned which was reversed (from day 3) with a night at the Nomade palace. Initially we thought it was just a switch between day 2 and day 3. Instead this led to some inconveniences. Upon returning from the desert tour at 2.30pm we were not allowed to return to our room as check out was in the morning. We therefore had to wait until 6pm in the common areas of the hotel which had no air conditioning, only 45 degrees!!! Only after several requests to at least take a shower were we given the keys to a room at 5pm for a quick shower.
Because of this inconvenience we were then offered a transfer from the Riad in Marrakech to the airport which was appreciated.
Unfortunately, however, the changes that were never agreed upon are not finished.
The tour purchased included two camel rides but the second was replaced by a return to Merzouga by jeep.
The dinner at the tented camp was not accompanied by music, there was music in the distance but in other camps.
The journey back from the desert to Marrakech was not at all what was expected, no visit/intermediate stop as planned but a simple long journey to the city, with stops only to eat and do one's business.
Our choice fell on the 4-day tour in order to be able to make further stops on the last day.
Everything was justified by the fact that it was a shared tour and they had to respect different needs.
It is not correct to get paid for a tour and then cancel and change more than 50% of the planned activities, with the excuse of sharing.
I wouldn't recommend it

Viaje de tres días marrakech a mezourga y fez .Muchas gracias a Ismael, nos vino a buscar al aeropuerto y estuvo paciente para encontrarnos muy amable en sus explicaciones y agradable.
Todas las personas tanto taxistas como guías han sido maravillosos. El desierto preciosa excursión.
