Have a look at the palace doors and walk a bit in the Mellah

The palace doors are not even close to the impressive beauty of the ones in Rabat but worth a look anyhow.

Actually I liked this newer part of Fez more than the old medina, as there is more space to move around. About every place in Morocco seems to have a Royal Palace that can not be entered. Here as well it is just to be admired from outside. As in other cities the Jewish quarter is close to the palace.... More

This historic city has all the attributes to seduce travelers that appreciate history. On this side of the city there are many raids to visit.

The history of this place is amazing. We visited it with a guide and it's much better for a first time. You can then go and explore on your own the next days.

Fes is special because of it's age and the way that it's been preserved over time. There are so many shops. I would recommend going to the less touristy parts of the medina (like where the wood carvers and weavers are. the people there are more calm and it's more authentic walking those streets. The artisans are also very friendly... More

We arrived here mainly for the Jewish quarters which are close at hand ..and in turn stopped at this junction which is a beautiful place no doubt ..but it wasn't open So we primarily just clicked pretty pics against the backdrop for posterity ...and to announce to the world -" we were here !!" Lolol. It's in the new part... More

This is one of the main districts of the historical city of Fez. There are lots of Riads to visit but they are quite hard to find on your own.
