Lovely little market and relatively peaceful to boot!

A completely accidental find - very much doubt I could successfully wend my way directly back here :-) Am assuming the souk refers to the no more than 10 or 12 little stores situated immediately around two lovely gnarled old trees. A relatively peaceful little spot one can temporarily escape to, largely selling similar goods one can find throughout the... More

This is a shopping experience not to be missed. The colors, the people watching, the old shops and nooks and crannies. Loved it all.

Just walking through the souk and seeing all the different things for sale is a delight. Taking photos and even buying something adds to the enjoyment.

Souks are always so much fun and brings a vivacity to you for spotting somuch color and joy DE vivre. Atleast I get enthralled in busy souks and markets whether or not I purchase anything at all. From spices to wares to clothes to bedsheets to copper vessels to shoes and carpets ..they sell them all within the medina..don't forget... More

This was a nice souk to visit. It had a wide variety of antique products. We were able to buy some great finds at a very good price.

We had a guide Had to go to shops staged as craftsman shop. Got tired after three out of six. Did not see much as we had to stop so many times. Boring. We wanted a small lunch and were ( surprise surprise ) guided to a beautiful but pricey restaurant. At least we were the only one there.

In the middle of the medina, on the main road there is a alley that leads you to souk el henna. You can indeed buy henna and other beautyproducts but also nice plates and other cerramic. Also look for the sign of the first psychoatric institute. It's a little less crowded than the main road were you can have a... More

I dont mind wandering around just looking and tasting all the nice food and have a glass of freshly squeezed oranges the whole day here. Its busy but still relaxiing at the same time.

Transported to the wonders of Morocco in this labyrinth of exotic spices piled in perfect cones, sweet honey dipped concoctions, pungent dangling meat parts. Explore sections devoted to the lace patterned lamps or engraved copper serving pieces and, voila, there is the craftsman hammering out his wares. Best to have a guide to navigate the twists and turns.
