I love moroccan architecture and this visit was very instructive as I did not expect such beauty behind the discrete door of this riad.

We found it by chance, as the medina is very confusing. Still we got there. The entrance is 20 dirhams and we could visit the patio and the insides as well. It is worth it as it is very well conserved.

Beautiful architecture. The medersa is worth exploring. Very detailed designs everywhere. Good to get a guide or read up before visiting.

Try to go there shortly before 18 on Saturday to get the place all to yourself. I'm not sure whether it's a rule or we were just lucky but a place looked abandoned when we visited. We could admire its beauty without a regular tourist...More

This place has been well restored. If this is the first building of this kind you have seen, you will be amazed. But, most historical buildings in Fes Medina or other Morocco cities are more or less the same in design.

Defo worth a visit to see the amazing architecture. Unlike Ben yousuf in Marrakech, you can only look around in the courtyard but is still worth it. A ticket is required and can be bought at the entrance for 20 Dirham.

If you're into architecture and the beautiful wood carvings of the Qur'an scriptures on the walls of the school. Go here! You have to pay to get in, but it's totally worth it. Too bad we can't see the scholars' rooms though.

We came here with our tour guide for the day; he told us it is a must see and we completely agreed! It is a beautiful hidden gem in the midst of the medina!
