If there's any one thing you should experience while travelling in Morocco, it's a camel trek and desert camp near Merzouga. We stayed at the Hotel Yasmina (auberge). The camels, which I think the hotel may own, as well as guides, picked our group up from the hotel's steps. The ride into the dunes is leisurely. There's lots of time... More

I had no plan at all to do camel trekking to the Merzuoga dunes during my recent trip to Morocco for I have only not that long ago visited Erg Chigaga. However it was a very difference experience, one that I would love to do all over again some stage. I did the tour with Said from http://www.tickettomorocco.com/. The dunes... More

We came to Merzouga by night bus from Fez. Even we came earlier guys were waiting for us. In the hotel La Petit Prince where we stayed we had amazing breakfast, then we had time for shower and relax. In the afternoon we had camel trek to desert camp. It was very nice experience. In the camp we tried sand... More

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 day trek from Marrakech to Fes with our wonderful guide Hamed. Driving through the Dada and Todra Gorges as well as the Atlas mountains was absolutely breathtaking. Our stop at the kasbahs were very interesting and beautiful. The highlight of the tour was definitely the camel trek from Merzouga into the desert, enjoying the camels,... More

We spent 10 days travelling throughout Morocco and I must say, camel trekking through the desert was THE highlight. The service was amazing. We arrived an hour earlier than expected in Merzouga but the the guys were already waiting. We even given a cozy area at their rest house for the rest of the morning. We were a pretty big... More

I arrived to Merzouga from a long and tiring bus ride from Fez at the crack of dawn. Luckily we had a pre-arranged cab with the tour company as the area where the bus arrived was kind of dodgy. Once we arrived to the hotel it was like an oasis. We spent the morning getting washed up and took a... More

I would like to hardly recomend this tour to everyone seeking for an amazing glance of the Sahara Desert. First of all because of the kindness and friendliness of the people that hosts you, they really make you feel at home. Also the place has an incredible view of the Sahara desert and of course the best sunsets within it.... More

We take a 3 day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert, and everything was fantastic: The sights and landscapes of course, but also the people from this crew! We want to go back for more!

Our group of four spent a marvelous night in the desert with Ibrahim and his troupe. After a starlit camel ride we enjoyed a wonderful home cooked meal, music and dancing. We also got a chance to speak with Ibrahim and his friends about desert culture, religion and customs. This was a special way to get to know the Berber... More

If you ever find yourself in Morocco, you need to make your way out to Merzouga so you can visit the crew out here. You'll experience the desert in a way you PRETTY much expected to - camels, sandboarding, stars, music, turbans - it was perfect. But you'll get the unexpected element you didn't expect, such as the family feel... More
