Beauty just outside the Medina

A short walk from our hotel provided a calm respite from the activity of the shops and alleys of the Medina. It's calm was a highlight of our visit to Fez.

When we last visited Fez 15 years ago, this garden was in sad shape. Maybe that's because the area had been suffering from a drought for a long while. Now, though, it's beautiful. Unlike many public spaces in this part of the world, this garden is well maintained. The plant and bird life offer a restful change from the bustling... More

In Morocco if always good to find a beautiful and quiet place at some time of the day. This garden is very peaceful and fits the bill.

This well-kept garden is a pleasure to visit. Lots of shade, flowing water and quiet spaces. It does credit to the city of Fez.

From the muddy brown waters in the lake to the poky little water wheel, this park was not as lovely as we anticipated. It was obviously still enjoyed by the locals, and I am pleased there is a green area to walk around within the city, but I believe more can be done to improve this park. If you miss... More

Formerly closed to the public, the gardens opened and are a lovely alternative to the packed souks. Fountains and walks guide you through the space. Take the side path to the Mellah with palm lined lanes.

Beautiful gardens, perfect for a relaxing walk after lunch. It's closed on Mondays. We loved the fountain in the middle.

We went to have a walk in this beautiful garden with my girlfriend and had a very good time. It was very calm in the afternoon on a Monday.
