I am a fan of the leather slippers with lowheels - not totally flat; just take your time, you will find plenty here; also nice Western style ladies shoes, caftans, bags. I've bought music recordings in other years, cute little silver-plated (not real silver) teapots....More

Walked through the old town after visiting the large mosque. A lot street vendors am trying to sell you everything form eggs, show, cloths etc. It nice but you need to be carful with pick pocket teens or kids.

My 1st city in Morocco and was all about absorbing the vibrant in colors, the nose tickling smell in the air and the hustle bustle of people scurrying about. One will soon find out there's a Medina in all main cities and you are welcome...More

If you have read any of my reviews they always say, go to every Medina. Exciting and you can find anything you want. Knockoff Athletic wear that actually holds up, knock off watches. All for prices that would rival any other marketplace in the world.

Very busy, crowded, impossible to navigate and everyone keeps trying to sell you stuff if you make an eye contact. Honestly, it not worth your time, unless you are in dire need for some carrots

We walked around the old medina a few times on our trip and loved it. So many streets and alleys to explore. People were nice and there were lots of shops we liked. Great energy and safe.

The souk is a good place to come to experience some local culture, but all you'll find on sale are cheap knock off shoes, clothes and electronics. Plus you'll be hassled by hawkers quite aggressively. The further you move inside the medina, the more you'll...More

Shop around and bargain to get the best price. I would only use cash in the Medina. If the shop doesn't ship and if you want to be sure the slippers are mailed, you can always mail them yourself. Your hotel can help you... More
