I am not an expert, but in this Medina you will not feel an atmosphere like in Medinas in Marrakech, Fez or Rabat. It is still nice to experience but this one seems much more modern then the others.

It is under restoration. There are lot of things to discover: Souks, Old fast foods, old Cafes. the streets are a signature of North-Africa old Medinas. A must visit for tourists.

From the train station, we took a taxi to the see the biggest mosque in Morocco. There we some tourists as well. The place is nice. I love the architecture of the structure. It was also massive. There is no near restaurants so better bring...More

As this is a local medina they don't get many tourists in most of it so the prices are not extortionate and they are very good people but still you should try and haggle ad they can still give you a better price. On the...More

Arabic Medinas used to be delightful, packed with handmade goods, craftsmen, and interesting corners. Last time I visited, this one was packed with fake clothes and Chinese goods.

Interesting place and worth a visit but it isn't as good as the medinas in other Moroccan cities. The shopping isn't as good either if you're after craft items and the medina is quiet grotty and run down.

It was a unique experience to see walk inside the Medina of Casablanca. A total sensory experience - it is not for the fainthearted - but it provides a great cultural experience.

Interesting place to visit but after a while tiring everyone wants you to see the Aryan oil and spices. Also realised they charge three times the amount as soon as they know you are a tourist. Interesting place to visit.

I needed to exchange some money and I had the best rate ever.. It is a heritage and traditional area, if you're into the history of Casablanca, you should pay a visit to the Old Medina. It is a mixture of Old and New contemporary...More

Like the rest of Casablanca, most of the Medina is simply a mess ... trash strewn streets, dilapidated buildings, and vendors selling merchandise likely not even made in Morocco. Walk through ... find Cafe Sqala or Rick's Cafe ... and enjoy the oasis provided. Both...More

Shop around and bargain to get the best price. I would only use cash in the Medina. If the shop doesn't ship and if you want to be sure the slippers are mailed, you can always mail them yourself. Your hotel can help you... More
