The car park is full of sellers who grab hold of you with little chance of escape so be warned, head straight up into the Kasbah and make sure you have used the toilet facilities before heading up.

We went up to the Kasbah hill/mountain for the views and they were breathtaking, a must for any visitor to AGADIR, the city was almost all but destroyed in 1960 by a powerful earthquake. We paid 150 Dirhams (approx. £12.50 for 2 people) for a...More

It was the old Agadir on this hill, and after the earthquake in 1960 now it is just ruins. Many locals sell souvenirs and others have camels trying to get some cash. Very nice view over the beach, fish port, the marina and the promenade.

I think one can walk back but quite a long walk .I wouldn't chance it as road poorly lit and not very even surface . We went by coach and the place is quite high up .
