We were 5 of us, not really enjoying maroc. yeh nature is great. But the hazzling from the people does not stop, specially when there is no man around. We were 5 ladys and met on the road. By yourself or with 2 of us it was really no fun. When we got to Rissani we met guide Hamidi, from saharamaroctour and everything changed.... More

I was a bit wary of this visit but it was totally above all expectations..felt very safe, friendly people with german, english and french knowledge..fantastic scenery from desert to snow covered Atlas mountains to bustling souks, magnificent mosques. only down side are the animals..hundreds of poor mangey cats, overloaded mules and donkeys.

We had to drive over packed earth to get to the place where we mounted camels to go into the desert. It was a bit of a rough haul. It was not a very long trip by camel, which was really just fine since none of us were used to using those muscles required to straddle the camel. When we... More

We went to the Sahara as a part of a tour we went on whilst in Morocco and it was one of the best experiences of my life! We went off road for a while in the mini bus on the way to the desert and suddenly in the distant the dunes seemed to appear out of no where. We... More

I had an amazing experience. The tour was good. Our driver/guide was kind and helpful. We were a small group and got along great. It was a lot of fun :) The landscape was stunning. We saw a full moon rise from the backs of our camels on the way to the camp in the Sahara. The camp guys were... More

I have done alot of world traveling. I cannot seem to ever get enough. My trip to Hasilabied(various spellings) was defintely a priceless moment for me. I wanted a trip that was full of culture, beauty, music, food, and serenity of the desert. To this day when I look at the photos, I still think the sand does not look... More

Before travelling to Morocco I arranged a trip to the Sahara from Fes where I was based. Our guide arranged for us to travel there in a taxi. 8 hours is a long journey but we saw some fantastic scenery along the way. In hindsight though I might have arranged the taxi myself so I could have ensured a seat... More

This is a short summary of the mind-blowing time I spent in the Sahara. The venture blows away all ‘tourist’ excursions by miles!! It was organised by Lauchen at aroundmorocco.com, the greatest advantage of using him, is that he is dedicated to maintaining the Berber culture and encouraging others to experience it. What better recommendation can I give, apart from... More

After extensive research, we finally booked our 3 day desert tour at the beginning of September with Duneslines. We were a bit apprehensive at first because of the lack of information and reviews about this tour company on the internet but everything was fantastic and we're glad we booked them. They responded to emails promptly and were very flexible. Said... More
