Excellent trails. Hells point is a great walk. Also trail 9 which is rugged is a nice historical walk showing dams made in the 1930. Inn has beautiful setting. Beautiful night when the Fort Wayne philharmonic plays their patriotic tunes. Great night to pack a picnic sit back and enjoy.

We were there in early April before the trees had really becoem green but it was warm and still nice. It was nice that it was so quiet in this time. Looks like they are putting out new sand for the beaches this summer. That will be nice but personally I would get rid of the sand and go wiht... More

Visited in Late October - had plans on doing some hiking, but weather was not very accommodating. Plan on going back during the Summer for another visit.

Make sure to see the nature center. They have a great selection of animal watching options and several hiking trails by the lake. Hit the toboggan run in the winter.

Weather was not really state park outdoors weather, but it was a beautiful drive and looks like it would be fantastic to rent a cabin or enjoy a hike. For winter, the toboggan run looks like a blast.

My one rating is for the restaurant only. It is Monday, the restaurant is not busy. I waited well over 15 minutes for a waitress. I took that time to look over the menu and decided on the walleye. Then I waited even longer. Finally, I realized after several glances from staff I was not going to be waited on-I... More

Our first trip up from Indianapolis. The first thing we did was visit the nature center which was very nice with a great bird feeding/watching area. Our main interest was the toboggan run and everyone had a lot of fun! I will worn you that carrying the toboggan back up the hill is a killer. After just a few runs,... More

Fun place for hiking, camping, biking and sledding. We enjoy this park. Fun for all seasons and the nature center is great. Miss Fred though.

First time to visit to ride the Toboggan. Lots of people. Very popular. However it was worth the waiting in line. Would like to visit the park in the warm months.
