Was doing research on The Great Chicago Fire of 1871 and this museum had plenty to look at. If you are a fire fighter buff, then this is a don't miss museum. Great to bring the kids too as well!

One of the old time firehouses redone with equipment and stories galore. Well educated guides to help out with questions or just to fill in the blanks.

This little museum has displays starting back in the 1800's up til present day technology. It has story boards of large old fires, old equipment and a small gift shop.
