My 6 year-old grandson LOVED this educational hands-on museum. We participated in the "Egg Drop" contest, and he won!

Brought cub scouts troop to museum and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves (and learnt about optics and sound). Keeping this age group focused is difficult but the interactive displays kept them engaged. Only need about 1.5 hours as the museum is small.

This museum is packed with activities to engage all ages. Explore space in the gorgeous exhibit downstairs, deliver live weather broadcasts, transmit secret whispers in the echo chamber, and taste honey from the hive on the second floor. Less crowded than the typical children's museums, the SciTech is more affordable and has free parking. Check the website for coupons and... More

This is a great science museum for kids k-5th grade. It's relatively small, so plan on staying 2 hours. It has many exhibits like the Museum of Science and Industry, but only much smaller. It's also a lot less expensive. Overall, it's a little known gem in downtown Aurora.

Aurora should be investing more money in this worn-aged jewel of a museum. After a brief unfortunate negative first impression with the employee working at the ticket desk who seemed interested telling me about the outdated computer system than providing pleasant customer service. Which almost cause my family to walk out and go to downtown Chicago for a top notch... More

A nice place for the kids to spend a weekend day and not be bored and even learn a thing or two. You might even learn something as well.
