The lookout is just off the Pali highway, close to Queen Emma’s summer palace if you’re over that way. Parking is not free so make sure you pay and display! $3 per car. There’s a time limit but you are unlikely to be there for...More

Won’t take you more than 10 minutes to check this out. You can only imagine being one of the unfortunate souls forced over the cliff many years ago. It’s a great vista, and gives you a beautiful view of the east side o the island.

We stopped there at the end of the afternoon and enjoy the view from the lookout. However we did not stay very long because it was very windy and cold at the top (1200 ft elevation). The parking costs 3$ for 1 hour, so since...More

We took the Red Line Waikiki Trolley to this site a ruff ride road needs some work done on it , but well worth a little discomfort. The views from lookout nothing short of spectacular a must to visit.

We went there for the day, to look out at the lookout. We traveled through the tunnel and up the mountain to the lookout point. We looked out at the valley below. and we looked at the mountain and how many people died in the...More

We love the Pali lookout...the times we have pulled over here it has been crisp and cool, the view is amazing, windward side. Pay to park at the kiosk. $3-, no fee for residents of Hawaii. 1200 feet elevation.

This lookout was part of an Eco tour we did and it was breathtaking! I definitely recommend seeing! This history behind this lookout is amazing as well.

Can you say WINDY? Oh heck yeah. Beautiful view. Awesome ride to get there and turning right out of the parking to Chinaman's Hat is breathtaking, but not white knuckle. It is very windy. Hold onto your hats. I would suggest a light jacket or...More

We loved our visit on a very windy afternoon. I was surprised to see so many wild chickens, eggs laid among the roots of trees around the parking lot, and the incredible cliffs on both sides of the overlook. Plenty of parking, some products being...More

I love this place, the view is beautiful, the wind spectacular. It make you feel like a kid as you pretend to be superman, or just having your hair blow in the wind. It is typically not crowded and there is a small fee for...More

15-minutes to 1-hour. If the weather is good there are a a number of good vantage points and photo ops. You have to pay a bit for parking - be aware. It's not a lot but be ready for it. There are several historical... More

Yes you can take Uber or Lyft up to the Pali Lookout. It would be rather expensive depending on where you are starting from. You would also probably have to pay the parking fee. Renting a car for a day would be easier and... More

I think it's just an "honor system" to pay if you decide to stop, park your car and walk up to the overlook. No charge for just driving through.
